Milling Around is UNH Manchester's first a cappella group. In 2009 this group was also the only collegiate a cappella group in Manchester, NH.

Voices of the 603

On Friday, October 12, 2012 we are hosting a festival for the 162 middle and high school students and teachers in the state of New Hampshire. We have many interesting clinics and events for this festival. Check out the site here: www.voicesofthe603.com.

Past Concerts

10-12-12 - On Friday, October 12, 2012, UNH Manchester's Milling Around hosted the third annual Voices of the (603) a cappella competition for middle and high schools from around the State of New Hampshire at the McIntyre Ski Area Lodge. Congratulations to Prospect Mountain's Ahwooh! Cappella, who won this year. The show will be aired on NHPTV in December. Thank you to all who came out to support this event. 5-4-12 - On Friday, May 4th Milling Around presented a spring benefit concert for the Community Caregivers of Greater Derry. Funds raised were $372.51 from ticket sales and bake sales. Thank you to everyone in attendance!

12-2-11 - Congratulations to Milling Around and Mill's Tones. Together you raised $287 for the Salvation Army's Kids Cafe. Besides raising the money you all put on a fantastic concert! Way to go!

10-14-11 - On Friday, October 14, 2011, UNH Manchester's Milling Around hosted the second annual Voices of the (603) a cappella competition for middle and high schools from around the State of New Hampshire at the Currier Museum of Art. Congratulations to Manchester West High School who won the competition for the second year in a row. Thank you to all who came out to support this event. Check out this site for more information.

5-6-11 - Congratulations to all the members of the Classy Cats and Milling Around. Together you raised $265 for the Family Education Collaborative to prevent bullying across the state of New Hampshire.

12-10-10 - Congratulations to all members of the Classy Cats and Milling Around. Together you raised $641 for the Firefighters and Police Family Funds. Besides raising the money you all put on a fantastic concert! Way to go!

10-15-10 - On Friday, October 15, 2010, UNH Manchester's Milling Around hosted the Voices of the (603) a cappella competition for middle and high schools from around the State of New Hampshire. Congratulations to Manchester West High School who won the competition. Thank you to all who came out to support this event. Check out this site for more information.

5-7-10 - UNH Manchester's Milling Around held their Big Show/ Charity Concert on Friday, May 7th at 7PM at UNH Manchester. This show raised $155 for the YWCA of New Hampshire.

12-4-09 - UNH Manchester's Milling Around and Classy Cats (along with special guest: Not Too Sharp) presented the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire with a $500 check to support their cause. This was from all ticket sales of our sold out concert.
